Intro. to Oil Painting

The objective of this class is simple: To help you become a more capable and competent painter through a series of demonstrations, hands-on practice, and lots of one-on-one attention.
We will discuss such topics as: materials, methods for approaching and carrying a painting to completion, oil mediums, understanding values, colors, and application, edges, and brush care, to mention a few.
This class is an Introduction to oil painting fundamentals. Demonstations and lots of practical application make this class ideal if you want to learn oil painting in a Direct approach, or if you just want to learn to paint better.
Kewaunee Academy of Fine Art
The academy is a full time studio that meets 3-4 days per week.
the curriculum is a classical method of learning drawing and painting.
